#TRUCKYEAH A Big Thank You to the Carriers at MATS

This year at the Mid-America Truck Show (MATS), Convoy was given the opportunity to meet carriers hailing from all over the United States. From dispatchers working at a dry van company out of California, to an owner operator with a sole reefer truck out of New York, carriers from all walks of life visited our booth to find out how we could make their business more successful. Luckily, enabling your trucking business to be more successful is at the heart of ours, and sharing that is one of the primary reasons we attended.
MATS gave us the opportunity to showcase our app to a large base of carriers, and to demonstrate, in person, how our app can benefit your business. While at the show, we introduced our newest features, Request a Load and Suggested Reloads, designed specifically to keep your trucks loaded and your business running. With these features, Convoy can provide carriers with new ways of finding work that helps you plan ahead, reduce deadhead miles, and get the loads that you really want. And with Automated Detention, you can trust us to compensate you if you are detained on a Convoy load, regardless of the shipper’s policy.
In addition to our new feature rollout, MATs gave us the opportunity to speak with new carriers and introduce them to the benefits for which the Convoy app is already favored by many, such as Instant Booking and Free QuickPay. These features have always enabled carriers to book Convoy loads instantly, without calling a broker, and get paid faster for their hard work.
Finally, MATS allowed Convoy to meet carriers, face to face, to discuss your interests, concerns, insights, and ideas regarding the trucking industry. During our discussions, our team learned an enormous amount from those of you who spoke with us, such as what you like and what you don’t like about the current industry, how it is changing, and what that means for you.
Simply, MATS gave us the opportunity to learn from you. And we did. Convoy learned a great deal from interacting with each and every one of you. From discussing detention policies to searching for loads to sharing app ideas, you all provided our team with a great deal of insight into what matters most to you. For that, we are grateful, and we will work hard to continue to design our app around you: The Trucker.
