Getting started
When I wake up in the morning, Convoy is the only thing I check. I see what’s available and book what we need today. The QuickPay feature is just beautiful, I love it. It makes life as a dispatcher much easier. They send you all the information and payments show up within two business days after my paperwork is approved.

Finding loads
Working with Convoy is simple. It’s simple to find loads, simple to negotiate and bid on shipments, and simple to get paid. In fact, the app is so simple that I encourage my drivers to book their own loads. Every ratecon comes directly to me, and at the end of the shipment all they need to do is take a photo.
Giving drivers facility insights is very beneficial, and the comments are really helpful too. Seeing which facilities treat drivers well, which ones might not, if there are bathrooms, if there aren’t bathrooms, it’s all great information to see.
I love the Convoy app. It saves my time and reduces all miscommunication with the broker on the phone when calling to book a load. Everything is in the app just one click to get your rate confirmation. Thanks Convoy!
The key in trucking is productivity and utilization. When we know ahead of time that there are reloads available, we can keep our trucks full.
The facility reviews are very helpful. Every time I’m looking for a load, I read the wait times and the reviews on the facilities.
I like the way everything is laid out. I can choose loads right in the app, whether I want it, or if I need it for the back end. You know other brokers play the cat-and-mouse game, and it can become a headache.
Before working with Convoy, I spent a significant amount of my time hunting for loads with many different load boards and brokers, trying to fix a schedule that minimizes deadhead and maximizes pay.
The facility insights plays a large role in what loads I do and do not accept. When there’s multiple loads to choose from that’s the first thing that I go to to decide which one is the one that I’m going to select. It’s a matter of proximity and wait times.
Other brokers need the transparency that Convoy has. Brokers aren’t trying to mislead people, but sometimes they guess at things. With Convoy, I have all of our shipment details available straight-up. It truly reduces the time it takes for my drivers to find shipments.
They keep me on lanes I prefer to run, and get me home when I want. By combining loads from different shippers, Convoy keeps us from driving empty trailers between jobs and we waste less time on load boards, keeping our trucks busy.

Placing bids
I completed my first shipment with Convoy today and it was the easiest load I’ve done in a while. The bidding experience was flawless. I submitted a bid for $150 more than the “Accept Now” price and it was confirmed within a few hours. I was surprised how quickly I received the ratecon!
The app is great because it shows the starting price for the load and all the shipment details. And I love knowing I can always earn more with Convoy by bidding.
Convoy’s Request a Load has become my new normal in finding loads to keep my six trucks rolling: This has made my job easier and right now, it’s the primary way I get loads.
This is perfect. I know my lanes, I know my rates, and now that I have them all in Convoy’s system, I never miss a load. They let me know when they have the right lane AND the right price and all I have to do is press accept when my bid is confirmed.
The rates are good when you win the bids and there is a lot less hassle with Convoy than dealing with a traditional broker on the phone.

Using the Convoy app
I work with other companies and they usually have no respect for the driver's time sleeping or resting. They will call me for updates at 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning, but with Convoy’s mobile app, they can see where I am and update my ETA and shipment progress automatically.
Requesting lumper payments is one of the most frustrating and inefficient processes I have to deal with on a daily basis. But now, it takes just seconds to request and receive a lumper payment code in the Convoy app, which saves me time so I can be more productive every day.
Convoy customer service is awesome. They pick up phone calls right away, they take notes accordingly, and they patiently listen when we are at the most frustrated events of dealing with load issues. Thanks a lot for all your help.
Great app. I like that I don’t have to go to the dispatcher if I have a Convoy load, because the app updates all of my progress and check-in/check-out times for me.
We’ve never had trouble with the app. It’s convenient when checking drivers in and out of the facility, and adding detention directly to your ratecon with a click of a button.
The thing the Convoy mobile app addresses, which has been a disaster, is detention time. The fact that Convoy has automated the process so drivers don’t have to fight for detention pay is huge!
If or when we have an issue with our pickup or delivery, they respond quicker than any other broker in the industry with an answer. And as long as you follow their directions, you will not have to fight for your detention or QuickPay.
Convoy has the best app and website in the industry and it’s seamless to switch between them.
If you guys are paying out the next day or within a couple of days, the factoring doesn’t really matter. You guys have the market on QuickPay.
