Jazwares And Convoy Team Up To Bring Toys To Boys & Girls Clubs Of King County, Washington

Corporations across America have been more generous than ever to support those in need during this COVID-19 crisis. One of the most at-risk groups has been children, who may not be able to fully comprehend what is going on in the world, why they cannot go to school, and why they need to maintain a safe distance from friends. 

Jazwares, a global leader in consumer products with a longstanding commitment to furthering the education and development of children through play, recently donated 22,000 toys to the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, Washington. 

“Children need to be children — they need to have fun and indulge their imagination,” said Judd Zebersky, Jazwares Chief Executive Officer and President. “Supporting the education and development of children through play has always been the core of Jazwares. We’re thrilled to be able to partner with the Boys & Girls Club and Convoy to provide toys to children who need them most.”

Jazwares offered the toy donation but the Boys & Girls Clubs needed assistance with moving the toys to their facilities. Convoy employee, Garrett Lund, made an introduction to the Corporate Engagement Officer at the Boys & Girls Clubs. Convoy came to the rescue to make the donation possible. Convoy account manager, Molly Black, worked directly with Jazwares and the Boys & Girls Club to oversee the delivery to ensure the toys were delivered with the same high level of service all Convoy customers have come to expect. 

Convoy picked up the donation in Fife, WA and delivered Jazwares’ toys to several facilities in Seattle and Lynnwood.

In addition to Convoy’s delivery, Dreams Program Director, Andrea Bates, personally picked up donations for Birthday Dreams, Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue to ensure every club in the region received toys.
